Can I continue to use digital certificates even if the Address or name changes?

The digital certificate for user certification can continue to be used until the expiration date, even if there is a change in Address or name.
The digital certificate for signature will expire due to changes in Address or name, so if you want to continue using it, please contact the ward office of Family Registry Division Registration Section in your ward office where you live, change the information on the front of your My Number Card and the digital certificate must be reissued. In addition, you can reissue an electronic certificate at the My Number Card Special Center under your jurisdiction of your ward only if you have completed the procedure for changing the items described above.

• Weekdays: 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• 2nd and 4th Saturday: From 9 a.m. to noon

• Monday, Tue, Friday (excluding holidays): 11:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
• Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
