When do I use my number card PIN number?

Set four PINs are set on My Number Card, each of which is used for the following purposes. The same number can be set for three types of PINs, four-digit numbers.
In addition, a personal identification number is not set on the face authentication My Number Card and cannot be used for purposes such as minor portals, convenience store grant service, e-Tax, etc.

Type and Use of PIN
TypeApplications

For Basic Resident Register
(4 digits)

We use when we change Address and full name of my number card at windows such as ward offices.

Assistance for entry of ticket information
(4 digits)

It is used to read information such as Address and name as data.

For digital certificates for user certification
(4 digits)

Used when using convenience store delivery services such as login to the minor portal or copy of resident certificate.

For signature digital certificates
(6 to 16 digits mixed with alphanumeric characters)

Used for electronic filing using the Internet such as e-Tax. In principle, it is not set for persons under 15 years of age and adult wardes.
※Letters can only be used in uppercase letters.
