What is the Address when building a new building or rebuilding?

If you change a new building, rebuild, or change the entrance and exit of a building in a town where the house indication is implemented, please notify the "Building Change Notification" for the setting of Address.
Please note that you will not be able to perform the transfer procedure unless this notification has been made.
In towns where no residence is displayed, the lot number of the land where the building is located is Address.

You can check whether or not the house display is displayed on the following page.

There are no residential labeling areas in Aoba Ward and Seya Ward.

Notification method

You can use one of the following methods.
Online (Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification Service) (outside site)
・Visiting Office (Family Registry Division Registration Section, the ward office in charge of the ward where the building is located) ※Weekdays 8:45-17: 00 / 2nd and 4th Saturday 9: 00-12: 00
・Mail (to the ward office, Family Registry Division Registration Section, which has jurisdiction over the ward where the building is located)

When a building is newly constructed or rebuilt

※As a floor plan is required for notification, a building confirmation application has been completed and the entrance is confirmed, a report is possible.

Style (Building Change Notification)

You will receive it at the Family Registry Division Registration Section window. Alternatively, you can submit a report online from the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification Service.
