Can I submit a transfer notification within 14 days after moving?

You can submit a report within 14 days after you move. However, please note that after a long period of time, you may be asked to check the situation at the counter or ask for essay materials.
For details of report, please contact the ward office Family Registry Division of report.
About person having my number card or Basic Resident Register card
When we use my number card or Basic Resident Register card sequentially, it is necessary to meet the next condition.
・Notification of transfer within 14 days of moving
・Notification of transfer within 30 days from the scheduled transfer date of the transfer certificate
・You have changed the Address of the Basic Resident Register card within 90 days from the transfer notification
About procedure other than transference notice
If you are notified 14 days after moving, there may be an effect on procedures such as Child Allowance, transfer for elementary and junior high schools, nursery schools, various employee health insurance, The Long-term Care Insurance, welfare services, pension, etc. Please confirm with department in charge.
