| Reason for recommendation | I got acquainted with the Yokohama City Agricultural Employment Support Project with the Yokohama City Intellectual Disabilities Working Center. As an agricultural helper, I came to learn agriculture for the employment of people with disabilities. In 1999, we also hired one person with intellectual disabilities. Since then, he has continued to serve as an agricultural helper and offers a menu using "Hamapaku" at "Restaurant Ayumi" at Ayumi-so, Yokohama, which was entrusted as a place to hire people with disabilities. Recently, there has been a lot of interest in agriculture in the field of welfare. We hope that Yokohama citizens and people with disabilities will be able to learn about agriculture in Yokohama by using restaurants that are familiar to both locals and people with disabilities as a source of origin. |
