Congestion forecasts are posted for each ward office Family Registry Division's “Notifications and procedures for moving, etc., procedures for My Number Cards and Digital Certificates (*)”, referring to the number of procedures and waiting times every year. (* This is different from the certificate issuing window.)

Description of congestion. Congestion is 5 levels from 0 to 4, and 4 is expected to be the most crowded.

  • Congestion is represented in 5 levels (0 to 4). Depending on the ward, you may have to wait about 1 to 2 hours on "many" days.
  • (You may have to wait for more than 3 hours during the spring moving season or the end of consecutive holidays.)
  • Depending on the weather and time of the day, the population of each ward, etc., it may differ from the actual window situation.
  • Please note that this is only a guide, and the waiting time varies depending on the content of each procedure and the date of the next agency.
