Online transfer notification (moving out of the city) of the person who has a My Number card

If you have a My Number Card and are moving to a municipality outside Yokohama City (excluding overseas) can submit a transfer notification online. Those who use this service do not need a visit to the ward office window in principle.

30 days before the scheduled move date to within 10 days after the date of moving (= transfer date)
※You will not be able to apply online after 11 days from the date of moving.

    Online transfer procedures are possible within 10 days of moving.

    What you need

    1.My number card or smartphone (one with a digital certificate for user certification and a digital certificate for signature)

    You can also report the person who has been issued a My Number Card and a member of same household who is moving together.

    Precautions

    It can be used if all of the following conditions are met.

    • The digital certificate for user certification and the signature digital certificate recorded on My Number Card or smartphone are valid.
    • When the PIN (4-digit number) of the digital certificate for user certification and the PIN (6 to 16-digit alphanumeric characters) of the digital certificate for signature can be entered correctly.

    ※It cannot be used if the digital certificate for user certification or the signature digital certificate has expired.

    2.Login terminal for minor portal

    Install the minor portal app on one of the following login terminals.

    Procedure

    1. After installing the minor portal application, log in to the minor portal (external site).
    2. Select "Procedure Search / Electronic Application" in the service list from the menu in the upper right corner, and open "Moving Procedure".
    3. Enter the information about moving and your My Number Card PIN
    4. After completing the procedure at the minor portal, the transfer procedure will be completed within approximately 3 opening days. (A notification will be sent to the minor portal.)

    Precautions for online procedures

    A person who moves with a My Number Card in same household

    People who have a My Number card can apply for a transfer online at once.

    If you have a My Number Card, you can apply for a transfer online.

    When some people, including the head of the household, move in a household composition of multiple people

    You will need to submit a separate notification of change of head of household at the counter. However, if there is only one member of the household, that person will automatically be the head of the household, so no procedures are required.

    Persons who need procedures for moving in addition to moving in addition to moving out

    When moving, procedures such as National Health Insurance, National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin), The Long-term Care Insurance, Child Allowance, etc. may be required at the counter. Please also refer to the following URL.

    After entering the details of the notification, if there is an error regarding "Expiration of the digital certificate for signature" appears on the signature grant screen

    In the following cases, the digital certificate for signature has been revoked or not recorded. Please submit a transfer notice at the ward office window or by mail.

    • Person who did not update my number card information at the time of moving or marriage in the past
    • A person who has not renewed the digital certificate
    • Person who did not wish to issue a digital certificate for signature when my number card was issued

    If you have forgotten your PIN on your My Number Card, or if you cannot enter the 4-digit PIN of the card at the place of transfer and locked it.

    You will need to enter your PIN on your My Number Card when you submit a transfer notification at the municipal office where you are moving.
    If you have forgotten your PIN or have locked it because you cannot enter your PIN, you will need to notify the municipal office of the new PIN reset at the municipal office where you are moving.

    Precautions after moving out

    After the passage of notification period

    If you are unable to submit a transfer notification to the municipal office where you moved in within 14 days after moving, you will need to apply for a reissue of a transference certificate. Please refer to "Re-grant of transference certificate (certificate equivalent to transference certificate)" for application method. If you have any questions about the transfer notice, please contact the new municipal office directly.

    If you are unable to submit a transfer notification to the municipal office where you moved in within 14 days after moving, you will need to reissue a transfer certificate.

    If the transfer procedure is not completed within the deadline at the moving destination, your My Number Card will expire.

    From the date of moving to the 14th (and within 30 days from the scheduled date of transfer), your My Number Card will be revoked if you do not complete the transfer procedure at the municipal office where you move.

    From the date of moving to the 14th (and within 30 days from the scheduled transfer date), apply for a transfer at the municipal office where you move.

    About notification of notification of holiday opening agency day at moving destination

    Depending on the municipality where you move, you may not be able to perform the transfer procedure on a holiday opening day such as Saturday and Sunday. Please check with the municipal office where you are moving in advance.

    You will not be able to issue a convenience store after the transfer procedure.

    Regardless of whether it is an online procedure, convenience store issuance of various certificates cannot be used after the transfer procedure. (It can be issued at the ward office window.)

    About cancellation of transfer after application

    The application can be withdrawn if the application status inquiry screen on the minor portal is in process.
    After the transfer notice is completed, you can cancel the transfer procedure from the minor portal only if the transfer date has not arrived. However, in the case of a change in the scheduled date of the next agency or a change in the transfer destination, there is no need to cancel.
    ※If the transfer date has arrived, you will need to complete the procedure at the ward office in your ward.
