Online transfer notice of person having my number card (moving out of the city)

If you have a My Number card and move to a municipality (excluding foreign countries) outside Yokohama, you can submit a transfer notification online. Those who use this service do not need to come to the ward office window in principle.

Notes on Notification

  • After the transfer notification by the minor portal is completed, the transfer notification process will be completed at the ward office Family Registry Division in your ward within approximately 3 opening days.
  • After completing the transfer notification process by the ward office Family Registry Division, you will receive a notification to the minor portal.
  • When you receive this notice, you can submit a transfer notice at the municipal office where you are moving.

※As it takes time from the transfer notice to the transfer notice, please report with plenty of time.

From 30 days before the scheduled moving date to 10 days after the date of moving (= moving date)
※Notifications cannot be made online after 11 days from the date of moving.

    You can move out online within 10 days of moving.

    What I need

    1.My number card or smartphone (with digital certificate for user certification and digital certificate for signature recorded)

    You can also notify the person who has been issued a My Number Card and a same household member who will move together.

    Notes

    It can be used if all of the following conditions are met.

    • The digital certificate for user certification and the digital certificate for signature recorded on My Number Card or smartphone are valid.
    • When the PIN (4-digit number) of the digital certificate for user certification and the PIN for the digital certificate for signature (6 to 16 digits) can be correctly entered.

    ※It cannot be used if the digital certificate for user certification or the digital certificate for signature has expired.

    2.Login terminal of the minor portal

    Install the minor portal app on one of the following login devices:

    Smartphones compatible with My Number Card

    Personal computers and IC card reader / writers

    Notification method

    1. After installing the minor portal app, log in to the minor portal (external site).
    2. From the menu at the top right, select "Search for procedures / electronic application" in the service list and open "Moving procedures".
    3. Enter your information about moving and your PIN on your My Number Card.
    4. After the notification at the minor portal is completed, the processing of the transfer notification is completed within approximately 3 open agency days. (A notification will be sent to the minor portal.)

    Notes on Online Notifications

    People who move together with those who have My Number Card in same household

    People who have a My Number card can submit a transfer notification online at once.

    If you have a My Number card, you can move out online.

    When some people, including the head of the household, move with a household structure of multiple people

    You will need to submit a separate notification of change of head of household at the counter. However, if there is only one remaining household member, the person will automatically be the head of the household, so there is no need to notify the change of the head of the household.

    Persons who need procedures related to moving in addition to the transfer notification

    When moving, procedures for National Health Insurance, National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin), The Long-term Care Insurance, Child Allowance, etc. may be required at the counter. Please also check the procedure guide page for moving.

    If there is an error in "Expiration date of the digital certificate for signature" on the signature grant screen after entering the notification contents

    In the following cases, the digital certificate for signature is revoked or not recorded. I would like presentation of transference notice at ward office window or mail.

    • Person who does not update information of my number card at the time of moving or marriage in the past
    • Those who have not applied for renewal after the revocation of the digital certificate
    • Person who did not wish to issue a digital certificate for signature at the time of issuing My Number Card

    If you forget your PIN on your My Number Card, or if you cannot enter the 4-digit PIN on your card at the new location and lock it.

    You will need to enter your PIN on your My Number Card when submitting a transfer notification at the municipal office where you are moving.
    If you have forgotten your PIN, or if you cannot enter your PIN and lock it, you will need to notify the municipalities where you are moving to for reset your PIN.

    Notes after moving out

    After the passage of notification period

    If you are unable to submit a transfer notification to the municipal office of the transferee within 14 days of moving, you will need to apply for a reissue of the transfer certificate. For the application method, please refer to "Re-issuance of transfer certificate (certificate equivalent to transfer certificate)". If you have any questions about the transfer notification, please contact the new municipal office directly.

    If you are unable to submit a transfer notification to the municipal office of the transferee within 14 days of moving, you will be reissued a transfer certificate.

    If you are unable to submit a transfer notice within the deadline at the moving destination, your My Number Card will expire.

    If you do not submit a transfer notice at the municipal office where you move to the 14th (and within 30 days from the scheduled transfer date) from the date you move, your My Number Card will expire.

    From the date of moving to the 14th (and within 30 days from the scheduled transfer date), apply for moving in at the municipal office where you are moving.

    About transfer notice of holiday opening agency day at moving destination

    Depending on the municipalities to which you move, you may not be able to submit a transfer notice on a holiday opening day such as Saturday or Sunday. Please check with the municipality where you are moving in advance.

    After submitting the transfer notice, about the convenience store delivery service

    After submitting the transfer notice, you will not be able to use the convenience store of various certificates. (It can be issued at the ward office window.)

    About cancellation of transfer after notification

    If the application status inquiry screen on the minor portal is in process, the notification can be withdrawn.
    Cancellation of transfer after the transfer notification is completed can be canceled from the minor portal only if the scheduled transfer date has not arrived. However, in the case of a change in the scheduled date of the next agency or a change in the destination, there is no need to cancel it.
    ※If the scheduled transfer date has arrived, you will need to apply at the ward office in your ward.
