About National Evacuee Information System
For those who were evacuated from the municipalities where they lived to another municipality due to the effects of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Fukushima nuclear accident that occurred on March 11, 2011, by notification from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications By providing the information to the nearest ward office where you currently live, you will receive various notifications from the municipalities of the evacuation source, such as contact regarding exemption payments (National Evacuee Information System (PDF: 99KB)

Measures under the Special Law
On August 5, 2011, the Law Concerning Special Provisions for Administrative Procedures for Evacuees to Address Disasters Caused by Nuclear Power Plant Accidents in the Great East Japan Earthquake and Measures for Relocators in Address (hereinafter referred to as the "Special Law").
The outline of this special law is for those who have been evacuated from municipalities (13 municipalities) designated by law, such as Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, by notifying the evacuation destination municipalities of the evacuation destination Address, etc. It is possible to receive administrative services at evacuation sites.
In order for those who have been evacuated to receive the administrative services stipulated in the Special Law in Yokohama City, it is necessary to have the procedures for "evacuation resident notification" directly by mail, etc. is. In addition, based on the above "National Evacuee Information System", those who provided information such as the evacuation destination Address at the nearest ward office that will be the evacuation destination do not need to notify the municipalities of the evacuation source again.

About proof of evacuation destination Address
In response to the nuclear accident, residents of 13 specific municipalities in Fukushima Prefecture designated by the Special Law, who have been evacuated due to the effects of the nuclear power plant accident are required to prove the evacuation destination Address when contracting with a private business operator. In response to the growing need to issue certificates related to evacuation sites as much as possible so as not to interfere with their lives, each evacuation source municipalities will start receiving such certificates (hereinafter referred to as "Notification evacuation sites certificate").
