Notice

About the start of a convenience store delivery service using digital certificates for smartphones

From Monday, January 22, 2024, in addition to My Number Cards, convenience store delivery services (excluding family register registration applications) can be used on smartphones at some business stores. To use this service, you need a smartphone equipped with a digital certificate for smartphones.

What is a convenience store delivery?

This service allows you to obtain various certificates such as copies of resident certificate using a multi-copy machine installed at convenience stores nationwide using My Number Card.

People who can use it

Those who are registered as residents of Yokohama City or those who have permanent domicile in Yokohama City and have a My Number Card or Smartphone containing an electronic certificate for user certification
※Only the person who has a My Number card can use it.

Please be careful

  • The only cards that can be used at convenience stores are My Number Card. (It cannot be used with Basic Resident Register card or private seal registration card)
  • Seal Registration Certificate can only be obtained by those who are Seal Registration in Yokohama.
  • Those who are registered as residents outside Yokohama CityCertificate of family register (all and personal matters)AndCopy of family register's tagYou need to apply for registration in advance. It takes up to 5 days to register for use.
  • Convenience stores do not issue tax certifications. Please use each ward office Tax Division and administrative service corner for issuing tax certificates.

Convenient points for convenience store delivery

Available from early morning to late night

It can be used even on holidays and at night when the ward office is not open.

Usage time: From 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
(Open all day except for system suspension days)
※Copy of family register certificate and family register tag is available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.

The fee will be cheaper than the counter.

The fee is 50 yen cheaper than obtaining it at a window such as a ward office.
Fees: 250 yen per copy (300 yen per copy for window)
※The family register certificate will be charged the same amount as it is obtained at the counter. (450 yen per copy)

It can be used not only in the city but also at convenience stores nationwide.

Use multi-copy machines installed at convenience stores.

From application to delivery, the person will operate the multi-copy machine.
It is a simple operation using the touch panel while watching the guidance screen, and there is no need to fill out the application form.

A convenience store multi-copy machine is a copy machine that can copy and print photos.

Security measures for issuing convenience stores

We protect personal information through various security measures.

  1. Since the information is automatically erased, personal information is not left on the multi-copy machine.
  2. Prevent forgetting to get your My Number card or certificate by voice guidance.
  3. Protects information from unauthorized access with dedicated network and communication encryption.

The acquired certificates are subject to various measures to prevent counterfeiting and tampering.

Application for registration

If you live outside Yokohama and have a permanent domicile in Yokohama, you need to apply for registration in advance if you want to obtain a copy of the family register (all and personal matters) certificate or a copy of the family register tag. It takes about 5 days to register for use.
※Once you register for use, you do not need to apply for each use. However, in the following cases, registration is required again.

  • When the permanent domicile is changed outside the ward
  • When the digital certificate is updated
  • When the My Number Card is updated

Application time

6:30 am to 11:00 pm (The fourth Wednesday of odd months is from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, excluding holidays, New Year's holidays, and system suspension days)

How to apply

You can apply in one of the following two ways. For details, please refer to the method of obtaining family register certification at your home address (external site).

  • Convenience store multi-copy machine (My number card, personal identification number (4 digits) of digital certificate for user certification is required)
  • PC (My number card, PIN (6 to 16 digits) of digital certificate for signature, IC card reader required)

※You can't apply from your smartphone.

Confirmation of the status of examination

You can check it in one of the following two ways.

  • Personal computer
  • Smartphone

The application number displayed at the time of application for registration is required. The application number cannot be given from Yokohama City.
From a PC or smartphone, you can check the status of the examination from the usage registration status confirmation page (outside site).

Precautions when using convenience store delivery

  • Only the person who has a My Number card can use it.
  • It will not be available on the day you receive your My Number Card. Please note that it will be available from the day after you receive it.
    (Due to the delay in data linkage to the convenience store delivery system due to the rapid increase in the number of My Number Cards issued, the convenience store delivery service on the next day may not be available, and it may take about 2 business days to start using it.)
  • If you submit a family register notification such as birth or marriage registration form, it will take a certain period of time to reflect it on the family register certificate. Please be careful. For more information, please contact the City Office.
  • Due to the system, it may not be possible to issue it (for example, when a certificate that requires handwritten addition or when the household includes a person planning to move out). For more information, please contact the City Office.
  • The PIN at the time of issuing the certificate is the PIN (4 digits) of the digital certificate for user certification.
  • Please note that if you enter your PIN incorrectly three times in a row, you will not be able to use it.
  • You cannot refund or exchange the obtained certificate.
  • It will take some time for the certificate to be printed, so please do not leave until you receive the certificate.
  • Certificates that fall under the provisions of the fee exemption are not available. The ward office andAdministrative service cornerPlease use it.
  • If printing defects such as paper jams occur, please contact the store where the certificate was obtained.
