Notice

About the start of convenience store delivery service using digital certificates for smartphones

From Monday, January 22, 2024, convenience store grant service (except application for use registration of family register) on smartphones in addition to my number card at stores of some businesses. To use it, you need a smartphone equipped with a digital certificate for smartphones.

What is Convenience Store Grant?

This service allows you to obtain various certificates such as copies of resident certificate using a multi-copy machine installed at convenience stores nationwide using My Number Card.

People who can use it

Those who are registered as residents of Yokohama City or have permanent domicile in Yokohama City and have a My Number Card or smartphone that contains an electronic certificate for user certification
※Only the person who has a My Number Card can use it.

What you should be aware of

  • The only card that can be used for convenience store delivery is My Number Card. (It cannot be used with Basic Resident Register card or private seal registration card.)
  • Seal Registration Certificate can only be obtained by those who are Seal Registration in Yokohama.
  • Those who are registered as residents outside Yokohama Cityfamily register (all, personal matters) CertificateAndCopy of family register's tagYou need to apply for registration in advance. It takes up to 5 days to register for use.
  • We do not issue tax certification at convenience stores. Please use the ward office Tax Division and the Administrative Service Corner for issuing tax certification.

Convenient points for convenience store delivery

Available from early morning till late night

It can be used even on holidays and at night when the ward office is not open.

Usage time: From 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
(Available except for system shutdown days)
※A copy of the family register certificate and family register's tag are available from 9am to 5pm on weekdays.

The fee will be lower than the counter.

The fee is 50 yen cheaper than obtaining it at a window such as the ward office.
Fees: 250 yen per copy (300 yen per copy in case of window)
※The family register certificate will be charged the same amount as those obtained at the counter. (450 yen per copy)

It can be used not only in the city but also at convenience stores nationwide.

We use multi-copy machine installed in convenience store.

From application to delivery, the person will operate the multi-copy machine.
It is a simple operation using the touch panel while looking at the guidance screen, so there is no need to fill out the application form.

A convenience store multi-copy machine is a copy machine that can copy and print photos.

Security measures for convenience store delivery

We will protect personal information with various security measures.

  1. Since the information is automatically erased, no personal information will be left on the multi-copy machine.
  2. We prevent forgetting to get my number card or certificate by voice guidance.
  3. Protect information from unauthorized access with dedicated networks and communication encryption.

Various measures to prevent counterfeiting and tampering prevention measures are taken on the acquired certificate.

Application for registration

If you live outside Yokohama City and have a permanent domicile in Yokohama City, you must apply for registration in advance if you want to obtain a copy of the family register (all personal matters) certificate or a copy of the family register's tag. It takes about 5 days to register for use.
※Once you have registered for use, you do not need to apply each time you use it. However, in the following cases, you will need to register again.

  • When permanent domicile is changed outside the ward
  • When a digital certificate is renewed
  • When you update your My Number Card

Application time

6:30 am to 11:00 pm (4th Wednesday of odd months from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm on the fourth Wednesday of odd months, excluding holidays, New Year's holidays, and system suspension days)

Application method

You can apply in one of the following two ways. For details, please see how to obtain family register certification for your permanent address (external site).

  • Convenience store multi-copy machine (My number card and PIN (4 digits) of digital certificate for user certification are required)
  • PC (My Number Card, PIN (6-16 digits) of digital certificate for signature, IC card reader)

※You can't apply from a smartphone.

Confirmation of examination status

You can check it in one of the following two methods.

  • Personal computer
  • Smartphone

You will need the application number displayed at the time of registration application. The application number cannot be given by Yokohama City.
From a PC or smartphone, you can check the examination status from the usage registration status confirmation page (outside site).

Precautions when using convenience store delivery

  • Only the person who has a My Number Card can use it.
  • It cannot be used on the day you receive your My Number Card. Please note that you will be able to use it from the day after you receive it.
    (Depending on data link to the convenience store delivery system due to the rapid increase in the number of My Number Card issued, the convenience store delivery service on the next day cannot be used, and it may take about 2 business days to use.)
  • If a family register notification such as birth or marriage registration form is submitted, it will take a certain period of time to be reflected on the family register certificate. Please be careful. For more information, please contact the City Office.
  • Due to the system, it may not be possible to issue it (for example, in the case of a certificate that requires handwriting addition or when a person who is planning to move out in the household). For more information, please contact the City Office.
  • The PIN when issuing the certificate is issued is the PIN (4 digits) of the digital certificate for user certification.
  • Please note that if you enter your PIN incorrectly three times in a row, you will not be able to use it.
  • Acquired certificates cannot be refunded or exchanged.
  • It will take some time for the certificate to be printed, so please do not leave until you receive the certificate.
  • Certificates that fall under the fee exemption rules cannot be handled. Ward office andAdministrative service cornerPlease use it.
  • If printing defects such as paper jam occurs, please contact the store where the certificate was obtained.
