Course contents

Part 1 "Creating an edible landscape that connects people to green"

State of the course

In the first part, a lecturer who practices the creation of an edible landscape gave a lecture on the fun of connecting with local people through greenery and creating an environment where people can live with peace of mind.
The story with the instructor's experiences about anti-crime program, connections in the event of a disaster, and food education through harvested vegetables was very easy to understand, and the participants seemed to be interested.

Part 2: "Watching Children in Land Horticulture"

Mr. Hasegawa: Photography

Mr. Mikio Hasegawa, Chairman of the Ryokuen District Revitalization Committee, who practices the whole area, gave a case study that watering the flowers at the front door will become a place for multi-generational exchanges by watering the flowers at the front door.
Everyone listened interestingly to the familiar cases of watching over not only the children but also the elderly and the anti-crime program.

Part 3 "Open Garden on SNS"

Part 3 Lecture Photographs

I explained the Instagram screen as an example, how to send out while enjoying horticultural activities and how to put effective photos.
He told us not only the merits of SNS, but also the disadvantages, and conveyed the joy of expanding the world using SNS correctly.

From Izumi Ward Residents' Activities Support Center

This course was held with the aim of letting people know the importance of connecting people with the power of plants. Participants were able to hear their ambitious opinions, saying, "I would like to practice it in their own area" and "I would like to try Instagram." I would be happy if this course was an opportunity to expand the circle of activities in Izumi Ward.
The Izumi Residents' Activities Support Center will continue to work to support local activities and Izumi Ward's "human resources" through courses and human resource banks. We look forward to your participation and inquiries.

You can see the flyer of the course from here.
