First of all, I received explanations from 1 to 3 while watching the slides.
After that, the participants actually operated using smartphones, personal computers, tablets, etc. brought.
In Continuing on 4, I tried the useful functions of e-books while reading books with interest, borrowing books, and also tried the useful functions unique to e-books.
I was able to respond one-on-one questions and questions that came out on the way, and I was able to slowly learn a new form of reading.
In 5, we introduced "Aozora Bunko" and the e-book service of Kanagawa Pref.Library.
Finally, there was an introduction to volunteer library volunteers in Izumi Library and the 35th anniversary event next year.
From Izumi Ward Residents' Activities Support Center
In this course, we planned an experience of lending service with e-books just started by Yokohama City Library.
People who hesitate to borrow books in the library because they are worried about sharing books with others and hesitate to borrow books in the library, or those who have difficulty reading type due to age, each person has the reasons for leaving reading I think there is.
I thought that the use of various functions of e-books and the use of lending services would be effective as one of the solutions.
The number of content is still not compared to the library's collection, but the participants still enjoy the course while reading moving picture books, book audiobooks to listen with ears, magazines and novels, etc., and enjoy the course with fun and interest from beginning to end Thank you
One of the questionnaire after attending the course answered, "I would like to teach the convenience of e-books (to those who need it)." We hope that each of you will be able to connect what you have learned here to someone who needs it next.
In Izumi inhabitant of a ward activity support center, we will support lifelong learning and local action through lecture and planning event in future. We look forward to your participation and inquiries.
