OCDI(Overseas Coastal Area Development Institute of Japan)
International Coastal Development Research Center. Established in 1976 as an affiliated organization of the Ministry of Transport, a public interest organization that provides technical assistance to developing countries in the field of coastal development in cooperation with the public and private sectors.
OCP(Overland Common Point)
It refers to Manitoba in Canada, North Dakota in the United States, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, the United States east of the states in New Mexico, and the inland parts of Canada, bordering the Lockheed Mountains of the United States. Freight that is landed at Pacific ports and transported by rail to these areas is called OCP cargo, and OCP cargo is subject to an inexpensive maritime fare called OCP rate. This is a policy fare aimed at balancing competitiveness with North American East Coast cargo. Areas near the Pacific coast west of the OCP region are called Local Points, and freight for these regions are subject to Local Rates.
OCR(Optical Character Reader)
An optical character reading device that reads data into a computer using the character recognition function of an optical sensitivity device.
OECD(Organization for Economic Co-operating and Development)
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The parent body was the European Economic Cooperation Organization (OEEC), which was established after World War II for economic recovery and cooperation in Europe. In September 1961, new issues such as assistance to developing countries were reorganized and became the current organization. The headquarters office is in Paris. Japan joined in 1964.
OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturing)
The other party trade mark product. Subcontracting production and supply forms in which finished products, semi-finished products, parts, etc. are produced under the brand of the supplier company, not by its own brand. The supplier can set competitive prices for high-quality products by purchasing excellent products from other manufacturers at low prices without investing in production equipment or product development, and the supplier can reduce production costs by stably mass production.

OLT(Overland Transport)
Bonded land transport. A form of customs transit permitted under Japan's Customs Act, which refers to the transport of foreign cargo between designated customs areas by truck or railway. The customs of origin shall obtain permission for a fixed area and period.

Operating Differential Subsidy
The U.S. government's subsidy program for operating self-national ships operating on key routes.
