HMF(Harbour Management Fund)
Port Management Fund. Established in October 1989 in response to the strong request of the Japan Port Transport Association, the Shipowner's Harbor Council and the Foreign Ship Association. (1)(2) Grants for measures to secure port labor force, etc. Ships to be collected were innovative ships such as container ships, car carriers, and grain ships carrying silos. It was abolished at the end of March 1992.
