IACS(International Association of Classification Societies)
International Federation of Ship Classes. An organization established in 1968 for mutual cooperation and consultation with other international organizations to achieve the common objectives of the Shipowners' Association. The committee consists of the United States, France, Germany, Korea, Japan, Norway, Poland, Italy and China.
IACT(International Air Cargo Terminal)
International Airport Sheya Co., Ltd. Established in 1966. He has a track record of conducting imported air cargo since the Haneda Airport era. After opening the port of Narita, the company has operated an import joint shelf.
IADA(Intra Asia Discussion Agreement)
A consultation agreement established in February 1992 by alliances and non-membership vessels in the region to promote the stabilization of services on intra-Asia routes, with the aim of creating consensus among shipping companies. It was founded by 30 companies, but as of March 1994, it has grown to 36 companies.
IAFA(The International Airfreight Forwarders Association of Japan)
Japan International Air Freight Carriers Association. An organization established in 1968 by a forwarder engaged in international air cargo transport. In 1991, it merged with the IAA (Japan International Housing and Delivery Association) and the Rikokyo (Japan Air Transport Carriers Association) to become JAFA.
IAPH(Internatinal Association of Ports and Harbors)
International Port Association. An international organization composed of world port managers established in November 1955. The headquarters is located in Tokyo, and Yokohama is also a member of the city.
IATA(International Air Transport Association)
International Air Transport Association. The name of the private international cooperation organization of an airline that has international flights. Formed in 1945. The headquarters is headquartered in Montreal, Canada.
I. C.Act(Interstate Commerce Act)
Interstate Transportation Act in the United States. Interstate transport laws in the United States and the law applicable to transportation across neighboring countries. (Refer to) ICC
ICC(Interstate Commerce Commission)
Interstate Traffic Committee. Government of the United States Federal Government established in 1887 to regulate and manage land carriers (railroads, roads, inland waters) and fleet forwarders under Interstate Traffic Act.
ICC(International Chamber of Commerce)
International Chamber of Commerce.
ICS(Intermodal Chamber of Shipping)
International Maritime Council. A private organization established in 1948 to protect and represent the interests of shipowners and to promote the development of merchant ships.
ICTF(International Container Transfer Facility)
A complex container connection base for both Los Angeles and Long Beach, which was put into service in January 1987. The base is a large-scale terminal with an area of 60 hectares planned by the Port Authority of Japan, and is operated by the ICTF Joint Powers Authority, which mainly consists of SP railways.

IGA(Inter Group Agreement)
The three major consortiums of the European Alliance members, Trio Group, ScanDutch/MISC Grop, the Ace Group, and the Ace Group, and Maersk, which are shipping containers on Europe routes. It expired at the end of 1990 due to reorganization of European routes and other factors.

ILO(International Labor Organization)

IMCO(Inter-governmental Maritime Consultative Organization)
Intergovernmental maritime consultation organization. Founded in 1959, it is one of the United Nations' specialized agencies, headquartered in London and is currently a member of 66 countries.

It also plays an important role in standardization of containers, which are essential for integrated container transport.

International Ship Suppliers Association. Established in 1956.
