World Scale

Fare index indicating the charter fee for one voyage of tankers (Yosesen Ryo). The index represents the standard fare of 100 for major routes from the Persian Gulf to Japan. The standard fares are announced by the London and New York World Scale Association on January 1 and July 1 each year, taking into account fuel costs and seafarers' wage levels.

One-stop service

A service designed to be able to complete all the relevant tasks required in a single procedure. In particular, it often refers to "one-stop administrative services" that can perform various administrative procedures at once.
