Bass cargo
In one voyage, it refers to cargo which is the center or basis of the revenue of the ship transport.
Bear charter
In a form of a ship lease agreement, a regular charter contract obtains the right to use the ship as a shipping agency, while a bare charter contract "rental of the ship itself". Therefore, the charterer shall bear all the expenses required for navigation, such as the assignment of crew members, on behalf of the shipowner.
Average inventory
An index indicating the average amount of cargo was placed in the facility per day. City of Yokohama, Port and Harbor Bureau seeks the sum of daily inventory divided by the number of days in the month.
Bay Plan (bay plan)
Refers to a table of loading container ships. Each container's loading site (BAY No.) is represented by mass, taking into account the loading area, unloaded land, weight, quality of cargo (dangerous goods, frozen cargo, etc.) and type of container. It is an indispensable document for cargo handling.
Flag of Convenience Store (FOC)
A vessel registered in a country that provides convenience in taxes or other respects. States such as Liberia, Panama, Bermuda, New Heblides and Nauru have low ship-related taxes, low restrictions under strict maritime regulations, and no obligation to assign seafarers. Therefore, measures used to establish a paper company here and charter it as a shipowner for a period of time to reduce the operating costs of ships.
Pen container (pen container)
A container for animal transport. Containers that have unique ideas on roofs, ventilation windows, cleaning outlets, drains, feeding boxes, etc. to transport living animals such as cows, horses, sheep.
Ventrator (ventilator)
The vent of the ship.
