It's fun! January 1 To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system

　Happy New Year. I would like to thank all of you for welcoming the New Year in a healthy manner.
　Last year was a year in which daily life gradually returned due to the impact of COVID-19, and various activities in the region were restarted. The Nishi Ward People's Festival was held in Nisimae Elementary School, Tobe Koen for the first time in four years, and events such as the meeting to listen to the sound of insects were also very successful.
　This year marks the 80th anniversary of the constituency system. Taking this opportunity as an opportunity, we will promote initiatives to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward as a whole in cooperation with local organizations, schools, shopping streets, and companies so that residents can deepen their attachment to the community and lead them to lively activities. In addition, we will steadily promote the Fourth Nikomachi Plan, a comprehensive plan for Nishi Ward, and work on each business to improve services for all generations, including disaster preparedness and other safe and secure town development, as well as support for raising children. Furthermore, we will focus on fostering momentum and decarbonization initiatives for GREEN x EXPO2027.
　This year's character "datsu" means "the road goes through." The connections that have been nurtured with the local community, and the various connections that can be brought up while celebrating together in the future are not transient, but I think it will be a road that will lead to a bright future. In this way, the 80th anniversary of the constituency system will open up the way and lead to a bright future.
　This year, we will continue to do our utmost to achieve our goal of “To Nishi Ward, a town where everyone can enjoy happiness and happiness.” Thank you for your continued support.
