　On Thursday, June 8, the Nishi Ward Self-Defense Fire Service Fire Exercise Technical Training was held at an earthquake-resistant berth (ship mooring facility) in the Minato Mirai 21 district.
　The self-defense fire brigade is organized by employees of individual offices, such as commercial facilities, office buildings, hotels, railway companies, etc. in the city so that they can work immediately in the event of a fire or other disaster at each business site. Thing. On the day of the event, there were 19 offices and 27 squads.
　At the training session, training was conducted to improve skills while competing for a series of time and accuracy, such as indoor fire hydrant operation and water discharge.
　The members of each self-defense fire brigade were able to demonstrate their daily training results, and the serious response with a sense of tension.
　The results of the training sessions to be worrisome include indoor fire hydrant operation I section, the best "Landmark Plaza Shopping Center Headquarters Self-Defense Fire Brigade B", indoor fire hydrant operation II section, best "Landmark Plaza Shopping Center Headquarters Self-Defense Fire Brigade A", No. 2 fire hydrant operation section, the best "Heart Care Yokohama Self-Defense Fire Brigade".
　The best two teams in indoor fire hydrant operation I and indoor fire hydrant operation II will participate in the Yokohama City Fire Maneuvering Technical Training Meeting to be held in Fire Academy, Yokohama on November 16 as "Nishi Ward Representative".
　Through this initiative, we have realized that the disaster prevention capabilities of each business site, and that the safety and security of inhabitants of the ward and visitors will increase.
