　On Saturday, July 22, we visited the summer festivals in the 2nd and 5th districts.

　The “Fureai Festival” in the second district was held in Nisimae Elementary School, where many children enjoyed ringing, balloon darts, slime making, and grand golf. In the schoolyard, junior high school volunteers held a 50-meter run time measurement meeting, and both children and adults were running together and sweating refreshingly. Also, on the gymnasium stage, everyone at the venue was excited by the opening ceremony by the Nisi Junior High School Brass Band and announcements of local ballet classes, and applause did not stop. The health check corner and drink sales were also very popular, and many elderly people were checking their own health while hydration.

　The Noryo Festival in the fifth district was held at the West District Center, Nishi public hall. This year, entitled `` Gathering of Health and Welfare / Children's Summer Festival '', there are many things from opening stores for children, such as bingo games, treasure fishing games, goldfish scooping, health measurements, community welfare enlightenment booths, from children to the elderly It was crowded with many people. On stage, Hiranuma Elementary School, Okano Junior High School, and local circles announced their daily results, and the venue was full of enthusiasm. The mock shops for eating and drinking such as yakisoba and shaved ice were so popular that some shops were sold out early.
　In addition, Bon Odori was revived in the gymnasium for the first time in three years. I also danced "Nishi Ward Ondo" together in the circle of local people.

　In both summer festivals, local people gathered together and were full of smiles and joy.
　I realized once again that the festival is a valuable opportunity to bring vitality and vitality to the entire region and deepen the bonds of the region.
