It's fun! January 29 Vegetable Harvesting in Sengendai Elementary School

　In Sengendai Elementary School, many vegetables are grown in the fields and rice fields in the school, and in the summer we also hold events to sell the harvested vegetables to families and local people as Marche.
　The day was harvested under the cold sky, but the elementary school studenｔ people who gathered in front of the fields were full of energy. We will dig up the radish that has been grown with great care since autumn.
　It was a lively moment to compare the size of the radish harvested in the class and discuss what dishes to use for.
　It is said that the radish harvested this time will also be sold individually to each household.
　Through the cultivation of vegetables, I hope that you will continue to connect with your classmates and local people to deepen your learning such as understanding of local production for local consumption, and to like schools and communities more.
