　On Saturday, December 16, "Nishi Ward Candle Art 2023" was held at the International Zone Plaza Plaza Square in Pacifico-yokohama Plaza.
　"Nishi Ward Candle Art" is a one-night candle event that has been held since 2008, with motif candles in the shape of Nishi Ward's mascot character Nishimaro-chan and Hikone character Hikone character Hikone, and "Message Candles" drawn by elementary school studenｔ at elementary school in Nishi Ward.
　At the opening ceremony, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Friendship Exchange with Nishi Ward in 2015. From Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, which has long been interacting with each other, Mr. Yamagishi, Deputy Director of Tourism and Culture Strategy Department and Chairman Kimura of the Hikone Tourism Association. In addition, "Hiko Nyan", which has fans all over the country, also appeared on stage, and at the subsequent photo session, he appeared together with Nishimaro-chan, greatly excited the venue.
　The day was blessed with the warmth of the out-of-season and the weather was blessed, and everyone who came to enjoy the fantastic winter night.
