　On Sunday, July 2, the 73rd Nishi Ward Promotion Conference was held in West public hall. The program of the day consisted of three parts, the first part was the "5th District Junior Volunteer 5 Appointment Ceremony", the second part was the "Message Communication Ceremony for the Prime Minister of the Movement to Brighten Society", and the third part was "Ukraine Support Concert". In addition, the members of the brass band, the Japanese drum club, the sign language club, and the Hiranuma Marching Band showed their daily results and excited the venue.

　In the first part of the “Fifth District Junior Volunteer 5 Appointment Ceremony”, a total of 35 students, from elementary school to high school students, were appointed as junior volunteers in 2023. The Movement to Brighten Society is a system in which all citizens deepen their understanding of the prevention of crime and delinquency and the rehabilitation of those who committed crimes and delinquencies, work together in their respective positions, and are safe and secure without crime and delinquency. It is said that this is the 73rd nationwide movement to build a bright local community. This year's theme is "Living the difficulty of living."
　In the background of crime and delinquency, there are many "difficulty to live" such as unwanted loneliness and social isolation.
