Nice communication! November 22 Kanagawa University Collaborative Planning and Problem-Solving Learning (PBL) Program

　On November 22nd (Wednesday), the final presentation of the Kanagawa University Collaborative Planning and Problem-solving Learning (PBL) program was held.
　This program allows students to propose sightseeing plans from a new perspective on the current situation and challenges of Nishi Ward, where the development of the Minatomirai area and the traditional town that retains a downtown atmosphere coexist. Since the end of FY2022, we have been studying an industry-academia-government collaboration project with Kanagawa University, which has concluded an agreement on promoting collaboration with Nishi Ward Office.
　17 students from 5 teams participated in the program. The four programs were short of about one month, and the students deepened their learning through first lectures and fieldwork by guest speakers.
　In the final lecture, guest speakers from the first lecture also participated, giving presentations on tourism plans for the targets set by each team. In each group, presentations were made that included various ideas and ideas in the plan structure and how to show materials. In the presentation, various comments were exchanged, including flowers on the topic of spots visited during fieldwork, and advice from the viewpoint of financial planning for implementation. All the comments were impressive to see the students who listened seriously and answered.
　Through this program, we hope that Kanagawa University students will deepen their connections with each region in Nishi Ward and discover and communicate the appeal of Nishi Ward from a student-specific perspective.
