　We visited the third district "Fureai Spring Festival" held at Inaridai Elementary School on Sunday, May 21. The day was blessed with good weather, and in the refreshing early summer weather, it was a great success with the local people.
　It is said that it will be held for the first time in four years due to COVID-19 infection. On the reopening, we heard that the Executive Committee had many discussions for preparation and had reached the day. . I felt the passion of everyone in the third district.
　Booths by many groups were set up in the schoolyard and gymnasium, and it was full of a very enjoyable atmosphere. In addition, there was a mock shop for eating and drinking by local Neighborhood Association and shopping streets, and it was so prosperous that there were shops that sold out early.
　On stage, children's dance announcements and Fujidana Awa Odori were exciting, and many children enjoyed the popular pony riding experience. In addition, students from Inaridai Elementary School and Iwaihara Junior High School were conducting volunteer activities such as venue preparation and guidance. .
　Indeed, it was a “place of contact” realized by everyone in the third district with all their abilities. I have once again realized the importance of connections between generations, which has been difficult in recent years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as children and the elderly are interacting here and there. Thanks to the efforts of Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association and many other stakeholders, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the holding of the Fureai Spring Festival.
