Nice communication! May 21st District “Fureai Spring Festival”

　We visited the third district "Fureai Spring Festival" held at Inaridai Elementary School on Sunday, May 21. The day was blessed with the weather, and in the refreshing early summer weather, it was a great success in the local community.
　The event will be held for the first time in four years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon reopening, the Executive Committee discussed many times for preparation, and heard that the day was reached. I felt the passion of everyone in the third district.
　Booths by many groups were set up in the schoolyard and gymnasium, and it was full of a very fun atmosphere. In addition, there were mock shops for eating and drinking by local Neighborhood Association and shopping districts, and it was so popular that some shops could sell quickly.
　On stage, children's dance announcements and Fujidana Awa Odori were excited, and many children enjoyed the popular pony riding experience. In addition, students from Inaridai Elementary School and Iwaihara Junior High School conducted volunteer activities such as venue preparation and guidance.
　Indeed, it was a "place of contact" realized by everyone in the third district with all their strengths. As children and elderly people interact here and there in the venue, I have once again realized the importance of intergenerational connections, which have been difficult due to the COVID-19 pandemic in recent years. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and many other stakeholders for their efforts.
　The ward office will also work with the local community so that we can overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and bring back to life, and Nishi Ward approaches a town where everyone can feel happy and happy. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
