　On Saturday, July 15, a local cafeteria in the first district, "Wai Wai Lunch Party," was held at Miyazaki Community Care Plaza. .
　This menu is a classic summer, curry that both children and adults love! It contains plenty of vegetables and is full of nutrition! Moreover, 100 yen for children and 200 yen for adults are also friendly to wallets! It was extremely hot, but it blown away the summer batter!
　On the day of the event, people who seemed to be neighbors, such as a group of elderly people with several friends and a couple with a baby, were eating curry while saying a smile.
　The "Wai Wai Lunch Party" is a dinner party held mainly by volunteers living in the area with the support of the Japan National Council of Social Welfare in District 1. On the day of the event, the leaders were very active, saying, "Preparing while consulting with Wai Wai, making curry, and serving." The town chairmans who helped seem to be busy with reception and invitation. The staff were also full of smiles.
　This event is held about once every two months at Miyazaki Community Care Plaza and Tobe-honcho Community Care Plaza. Anyone can participate alone, with friends, family, regardless of age, and it is a place for local exchange and connection through food.
　It was not possible to hold the event for three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it resumed in May of this year, and the number of participants has increased with each time. We hope that many people will participate in the future and use it as a catalyst for creating local connections. I once again realized that these efforts in the region will expand the circle of support. Thank you very much to everyone in the first district.
