Proposal No. 19 | Submission of Statement of Opinion on Minimum Wage Revision | In revising the Kanagawa Prefecture Minimum Wage in FY2002, we request that special consideration be given to the following points and that the system be further enhanced. 1 Conduct a consultation on the revision of the Kanagawa Prefecture minimum wage early and make a revision in line with the new wages of general workers. In addition, the same measures should be taken to revise the minimum wage by industry. 2 The regional minimum wage in Kanagawa Prefecture shall be revised based on the hourly amount, raised, and the hourly display shall be unified. 3 In revising the minimum wage, respect the independence of the Local Minimum Wage Examination Committee and thoroughly disseminate the purpose and contents in order to eliminate workers below the minimum wage in Kanagawa Prefecture. | Passed |
