Catholic Church in Tobe

The only Catholic church in Nishi Ward is located in a quiet residential area on the main gate of Tobe Elementary School. It was founded in August 1952 at a church belonging to the Escorapios monastery based in Spain.

The first director was Father Ferrisciano Peres. The Escorapios monarchy, which is now scrutinized by the chief priest Hellman Lumbrares and the assistant priest Pedro Lewis Paire, is particularly focused on education and is engaged in active missionary activities around the world.

Kaisei High School in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, is run in Japan. Although the Spanish-born priests are exclusively soccer, this high school is a famous baseball player and it is always famous for being a male Koshien.
