54.The story of Kazusuke Yamashiroya, the site of Fuunji's dream (Motokubocho 4)
Located in the inner part of Teramachi in Kuboyama, the modern temple called Shosha is Tsurimineyama Rinkozenji, one of the oldest temples in Yokohama. In a part of the Kuboyama cemetery next to it, there is a large tomb engraved with vigorous characters, "Yamashiroya Wasuke Tomb."
It is said that Kazusuke Yamashiro and Nagato people played an active part in the Boshin War as a servant of the Emperor from a young age. Later, he engaged in trade in Yokohama and became a merchant of the Ministry of Defense. With the help of Aritomo Yamagata in the same country, he borrowed a large sum of 500,000 yen from the ministry to trade raw silk, but dared to go bankrupt due to the Franco-France War. After that, he borrowed another 149,000 yen, and France played a great deal of work in Bari and gave a great name, but soon it was indemnity. It is said that he took responsibility and broke up within the Ministry of Army. Well, it was a magnificent life.
