62."Port and Ship Museum" Yokohama Maritime Museum (2-1-1 Minato Mirai)
Surrounded by the sea on all sides, Japan is a world-class marine country, but it was extremely rare that it was active overseas compared to U.K. and Nordic countries. Shipbuilding and navigation were surprisingly immature, and in 663 AD, the Japan-Kudara Allied Forces fought in the Tang-Silla Allied Forces and Shiramurae (both Hakusonko and Hakus Kinoe) were severely defeated. In Hideyoshi's dispatch to Korea, he lost again by the enemy's great general, Lee Sunomi. The defeat of the Baltic Fleet in the Russo-Japanese War is a very rare example.
Japan has now become one of the leading shipbuilding countries, but generally it is said that interest in the sea and ships is still low. So why don't you visit the port and ship museum Yokohama Maritime Museum? I am sure there is a new discovery.
