Walk in the open field

Open field, or alleys. In Buddhism, it refers to a border that has left the affliction, and in the tea ceremony, it refers to a soan-style garden with stone lanterns, (* 1) squatting (Tsukubai), stepping stones, etc. The open field is "a narrow road between houses (Kojien)" and is not exceptional.

When humans gather and live, the shortest path is inevitably and convenient, and according to demand, it reaches four and eight like a net. That's an open field. It is a substitute that is not found in the calculated orderly new town, etc., but the atmosphere of the smell of life on narrow roads is hard to discard. If you think it's a dead end, it's interesting to go out to a surprising place. However, it is a bit lonely that the old eaves (* 2) and the children's play voices have disappeared.
