15.The ruins of Tsuchitoriba in Tenjinzaka (near Higashigaoka 7)
The hustle and bustle of the main street behind Hinode-cho Sta. is a lie. The stone steps of Tenjinzaka, the shortest way from here to Mt. Noge, begin. 94 steps counting from the bottom (no doubt because I checked it twice), wide and uneven stone steps are not so steep, but they will respond quite well if you try to climb at a break.
The name of the mountain carved by this stone step is Mt. Tenjin, and the height is only about 45 meters, but in the long time ago, Kanbee Yoshida, who was a timber merchant at the time of Manji 2 (1659), developed Nitta, Ishikawa Nakamura It was reclaimed by collecting the soil of Daimaruyama and Sudian Island and here Tenjinyama. Noge Nitta, which spent a huge cost and eight years, was later referred to as Yoshidashinden, but it is the center of Yokohama today. There is a monument at the entrance.
