After graduating from junior college, he trained under Toshinari Sabu, a hand-painted Western-style painting that won the national “Excellent Technician (modern master craftsman)”, and studied with various traditional skills holders in Japan and overseas. While holding solo exhibitions at department stores and selling works, he has been running the painting salon "Loui Poseren" since 2005.
