I would like to convey the technology to the public.

"When I was just starting to work, the stones came off immediately after the earthquake, and my friends were seriously injured. At that time, I realized the importance of earthquake resistance.

After that, I went to the affected areas of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and the Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake to learn about the construction method that is resistant to shaking.

Then, through trial and error, we made improvements to the existing stone-paving method, and created a unique method of reinforcing invisible parts with metal fittings," says Mr.

Mr. Kamitori says, "Technology has no end" and "I want to make the technology open to the public."

Every time I see the old man's "no flea traces" in an old building for hundreds of years, he says that he corrects his collar if he can't do his stupid work.

He serves as a lecturer at a seminar held by the Yokohama Masonry Association, contributing to the guidance and training of younger students, and spreads knowledge and skills of earthquake resistance.
