In general, in the production of obi tailoring, a 180cm long table is placed sideways for workers.

Mizumori devised a method of working with a 70cm long stand vertically for the worker in order to finish the texture (fold) straight.

Also, in order to cut the core straight, the sharpness of the core cutter is important. Therefore, a small core cut knife that is easy to sharpen is used.

Furthermore, in order to prevent the band from rubbing out, a technique to erase the steps using a band core is used to extinguish the obi, so that the band lasts longer and makes the belt feel comfortable.

He is a cousin and introduced as an apprentice under a teacher who runs a tailor specializing in obi in Tokyo.

After 11 years of training, he established Obiyasu independently at the age of 26.

In addition to devising attached belts that can be easily and beautifully tightened, we will also work on dressing guidance and actively promote activities to spread the obi and kimono culture.
