The real pleasure of order is to unite fabric, design, body shape, and personality.
"I entered with a casual feeling, but now looking back on half a century as a clothes sewing master, I think it's a hard work," says Abe.
Abe says, "The tailoring starts with choosing," and says that the starting point of making men's clothing is a "simulation."
Clothes are something that people wear and people move three-dimensionally, so we will proceed with drawing while considering the movement.
"Order means that the fabric, buttons, designs, body shape of the wearer, and personality are united and shaped," "I want you to wear it for a long time." Buttons alone will completely change the atmosphere of the clothes, so I want you to enjoy the fun."
He serves as a practical instructor at the Kanagawa Prefectural Western-style Association Federation, and teaches and nurtures younger generations.
In addition, we are working on activities to convey the joy of manufacturing to the general public, such as participating as a staff member of a manufacturing experience classroom held in the prefecture.
Meister's skill
In addition to business suits, we are engaged in tuxedo, swallowtail clothes, women's panthalone, women's suits (man's clothing tailoring).
We are particular about handmade in all processes, including drawing, cutting, and sewing. In particular, he specializes in the production of tuxedes and swallowtails that are difficult to tailor, and has a three-dimensional core making, a seam that does not float, and does not collapse.
In addition, in the past, when the silk on the tuxedo collar becomes dirty, we have devised a technique to replace only the collar, although all of them were replaced.
Profile
After graduating from junior high school in Miyagi Prefecture, he became an apprentice of a clothes shop he happened to see in a shopping street in Yokosuka, his parents' home.
While working as an apprentice, he studied at the cutting department of a men's clothing school in Tokyo.
After working at clothing stores in Yokosuka and Yokohama, he opened Taylor Marutada in Seya Ward at the age of 26.
