Passion to continue exploring safety and efficiency at the same time
I always pay more attention to safety management because it is a workplace that is always next to life-threatening accidents.
"I have been engaged in large public and private construction work as chairman of the foremen's association and general foreman. It is important how we can communicate with our workers and share progress in harsh environments," says Takahashi.
At sites where many employees with different work content must be separated so that they can follow the construction period and deliver them to contractors in the next process, strong sense of responsibility and patience are required, so we will not neglect our efforts to control ourselves.
In addition, as the number of employees in the construction industry decreases year by year, while fostering young technicians as instructors at the Kanagawa Civil Engineering Training Center, we also focus on activities to convey the appeal of construction, such as conducting craft classes at nearby elementary schools. I am.
Meister's skill
In order to build a concrete building, the formwork is to make a mold that pours concrete.
Mr. Takahashi is familiar with various formwork constructions, and is particularly excellent in speeding construction methods that shorten the construction period.
In large-scale construction, an expansion joint (EXP.J) method, which creates gaps in floors and walls and attaches metal covers to connect buildings in order to absorb external forces such as expansion and contraction due to earthquakes and temperature changes, occurs in each construction zone, each building, and multiple buildings.
In the past, each building of multiple buildings is constructed in one step by step, but Mr. Takahashi devised a method of constructing the same floor of multiple buildings at the same time using thin large formwork panels and parts, shortening the process and improving efficiency, and succeeding in safe process management.
