The passion for exploring safety and efficiency at the same time

Because of the workplace is always adjacent to life-threatening accidents, we pay more attention to safety management.

"I have been engaged in many large public and private construction work as the chairman of the foremen's Association and general foreman. It's important to be able to communicate with workers and share their progress in harsh environments," says Takahashi.

At sites where many employees with different work content must be separated so that the construction period can be observed and handed over to the next process contractor, a strong sense of responsibility and patience are required, so we must make efforts to control themselves.

In addition, as the number of employees in the construction industry is decreasing year by year, while training young technicians as a lecturer at the Kanagawa Civil Engineering Training Center, we are also focusing on activities to convey the appeal of construction, such as conducting craft classes at nearby elementary schools. I am.

Meister's skill

Yutaka Takahashi Meister’s work

In order to build a concrete building, formwork is to create a mold for pouring concrete.

Mr. Takahashi is familiar with various formwork constructions and is particularly excellent in the speed method of shortening the construction period.

In large-scale construction, the expansion joint (EXP.J) method, in which gaps are created on floors and walls to absorb external forces such as earthquakes and temperature changes due to earthquakes and temperature changes. Occurs in multiple buildings.

In the past, multiple buildings were constructed in stages one by one floor in order, but Mr. Takahashi devised a method to construct a formwork on the same floor of multiple buildings at the same time using thin large formwork panels and parts. We have succeeded in shortening the process and improving efficiency, and succeeded in safe process management.
