The prefectural road Seya Kashiwao (Okazu) Road Improvement Project aims to eliminate traffic congestion at intersections within the project area and improve the pedestrian environment by installing right turn lanes, bus bays and sidewalks along with the development of the Nakata Sachigaoka Line (Okazu area).
