What is the special collection of National Health Insurance premiums?

As a method of collecting national health insurance premiums, insurance premiums are deducted from the head of the household, pension, under certain conditions.
Households that fall under all of the following 1-4 will be specially collected in principle.
1 The head of the household is enrolled in National Health Insurance, and all insured persons in the household are between 65 and 74 years old.
2 The head of the household receives a public pension subject to special collection at least 180,000 yen per year.
Long-term Care Insurance Premium, the head of the household, is specially collected from the public pension.
4 The sum of National Health Insurance premiums and Long-term Care Insurance Premium shall not exceed half of the amount received by the public pension.
