The National Health Insurance Insured Card is sent to the head of the household by simple registered mail (no forwarding required).
If you are absent or have been transferred, your insurance card will be returned to your ward office Insurance and Pension Division. If you do not receive it, please contact your ward office Insurance and Pension Division.
In addition, in Yokohama City, the insurance card was renewed all at once in July of odd years, and if you have already taken out Yokohama City National Health Insurance and do not receive a new insurance card by the end of July of the renewal year, Please contact the ward office Insurance and Pension Division in your ward.
