San Diego, USA is one of the leading start-up support regions in the United States, with annual venture capital investment of over 160 billion yen.
Yokohama City and the Kihara Memorial Yokohama Life Science Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the "Kihara Foundation") will continue to collaborate with the U.S. entrepreneur support organization "CONNECT" to implement the SpringboardTMProgram in Yokohama," a program that fosters and support small and medium-sized startups in the life sciences field.
Companies participating in this program will work with mentors to brush up their business plans and improve their pitch skills. After completing the program, the results will be reported on Demo day to VCs and related companies in the United States.
Through this initiative, Yokohama City will support small and medium-sized start-up companies to realize the "Innovation City, Yokohama".
