Patent of “muscle Phone” electroelectric sensor

Yokohama City is promoting the "Yokohama Life Innovation Platform" (LIP. Yokohama), a network of industry, academia and government that continuously creates innovation in the health and medical fields.
Kanagawa University (Kanagawa Ward) has obtained a patent (Patent No. 6964355) for the muscle phone's muscle potential detector and myopotential detection system, which was developed using the LIP. Yokohama Trial Grant (FY2018), one of the initiatives of LIP. Yokohama Trial Grant.
“Muscle Phone” was developed based on the idea of Professor Ryuta Kinugasa of Kanagawa University with the technology of Salstec Corporation (Kanazawa Ward).
With the acquisition of this patent, Kanagawa University and Salstec Co., Ltd. are seeking to collaborate with application development partners and sales partners in Japan and overseas, and are looking for business partners who can collaborate to create markets.
Yokohama City and the Kihara Memorial Yokohama Life Science Foundation will continue to support the verification of prototypes and market development for the practical use of “muscle phone”.
