Through the ITOPI Yokohama Demonstration Center, Yokohama City supports the smooth implementation of demonstration experiments on advanced technologies such as AI and IoT by start-up companies.
This time, the Advanced Robotics Foundation will conduct a longitudinal flight of Tokyo Bay between Yokohama and Chiba City (approximately 50 km) for the purpose of technical verification with a view to social change and decarbonization of logistics. In this flight experiment, we will fully autonomous flight from takeoff to landing, using a new aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing and the quasi-zenith satellite "Michibiki".
The take-off location will take off from the ESR Yokohama Koura Distribution Center (hereinafter ESR Yokohama Koura DC) planned site with the cooperation of ESR Corporation.
