[Press Release] Seven companies, mainly R&D functions, enter Yokohama

In Yokohama City, we support the expansion of companies through the Yokohama City's Business Location Incentive Program for Growth Industries to promote the accumulation of industries that are expected to grow, such as the environment and energy, health and medical care, IT and manufacturing industries.
In fiscal 2021, a total of seven companies were located, including research institutes and headquarters of companies engaged in businesses such as microalgae, next-generation batteries, system software, materials and materials.
In addition to the location of 26 universities in Yokohama City, the number of academic and R&D institutions and the number of engineers and researchers in government-designated cities is the largest. We will continue to attract companies that contribute to the sustainable development of the Yokohama economy, such as R&D functions for growth industries.
