[Press Release] Seven companies have entered Yokohama with a focus on R&D functions

Yokohama City's Business Location Incentive Program for Growth Industries aims to promote the accumulation of industries that can be expected to grow, such as the environment and energy, health and medical care, IT and manufacturing industries.
In fiscal 2021, a total of seven companies were located, including research institutes and headquarters of companies engaged in microalgae, next-generation batteries, systems and software, materials and materials.
Yokohama City has 26 universities, and has the largest number of academic and R & D institutions and the number of engineers and researchers among government-designated cities. We will continue to attract companies that contribute to the sustainable development of the Yokohama economy, such as the R & D functions of growth industries.
