Yokohama City is promoting the Yokohama Life Innovation Platform (LIP) (Yokohama), an industry-academia-government-government network that continuously creates innovations in the health and medical fields.
Telemedica Co., Ltd. (Aoba Ward), a development company, has obtained a U.S. patent for iPax, a stethoscope education system developed using the LIP.Yokohama Trial Grant (FY2018 and FY2019), one of the initiatives of LIP.Yokohama, and a speaker dedicated to hearings.
The company has been working to enter the U.S. market with the support of JETRO Yokohama since last fiscal year. In the future, we will support overseas expansion in cooperation with the Motoichi Americas Office and the Yokohama Corporate Management Support Foundation (IDEC Yokohama).
