In July 2020, Yokohama City was selected as a "Global Base City" as a member of the Startup Ecosystem Tokyo Consortium for the "Global Base City" by the government (Cabinet Office).
With the aim of creating a foothold for overseas expansion and investment opportunities, a global accelerator program will be implemented by a global accelerator for startups in "startup ecosystem base cities" nationwide.
From Yokohama City, three of the start-ups supported by YOXO BOX, three companies will be selected and support will start.
