Since 2019, Yokohama City has been collaborating with CONNECT, an entrepreneur support organization in San Diego, USA, to develop and support small and medium-sized startups in the life sciences field. Three companies participating in the program have been decided.
In the future, participating companies will hone their business skills through practical mentoring by San Diego entrepreneurs and professional mentors, and after completing the program, they will report their results to VCs and related companies in the United States via Demoday (online).
Through this initiative, Yokohama City will promote support for small and medium-sized startups toward the realization of "Innovation City Yokohama".
