The logo mark of "Innovation City Yokohama" has been decided! The operator of the “Venture Company Growth Support Base (Kannai)” has been decided!

In January 2019, Yokohama City declared the "Innovation City Yokohama," in which human resources such as researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and students expand their networks across organizations and create new innovations from Yokohama. To date, various private companies and universities have formed opportunities for exchange of innovation human resources, including the newly established R&D bases in the Minato Mirai 21 district.
In order to further recognize this initiative and make it a major movement, we have decided on a logo mark statement that will symbolize the “Innovation City Yokohama”. Using the logo mark as a symbol, we create an environment where companies, organizations and individuals can connect and create new businesses.
In addition, we have decided to operate a venture company growth support base, which will serve as a hub for promoting innovation, as a joint venture consisting of four companies, including Mitsubishi Estate Corporation. Through these efforts, we aim to create a business area where people and companies from Japan and overseas gather and create innovation throughout the city.
