This year's unique school lunch utilizing unused fish will be implemented again this year!

In the distribution process of marine products, so-called “unused fish” that are turned into non-edible or evaluated only at low prices due to size and catch. In cooperation with Municipal Elementary Schools of nine schools in Kanagawa Ward, the Yokohama Central Wholesale Market, the Yokohama City Central Wholesale Market, will implement its own school lunch utilizing unused fish, in collaboration with elementary school studenｔ's nine schools, to learn about the effective use of limited marine resources and the importance of fish food.
