Yokohama City will support KDDI's empirical research on the impact of marketing methods in the digital age on purchasing activities under the framework of "ITOP Yokohama."
This empirical study uses AR (Augmented Reality) and digital signage to collect location information and purchasing activity information centered on Yokohama Stadium, and research the impact of various marketing methods on purchasing activities. This empirical research will be conducted as part of the Cabinet Office's "Strategic Innovation Creation Program (SIP)".
Through this research, Yokohama City and KDDI CORPORATION will promote the use of data in business and aim to revitalize the local economy by promoting the use of data in business.
