　Yokohama City has proposed an invitation program for foreign-affiliated companies and has been adopted by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as part of the Regional Business Conference.
　In the future, with the support of JETRO, in cooperation with other neighboring cities, representatives of life science-related companies that are eager to invest in Japan from the United States and Europe will be invited to Yokohama to promote top sales by the mayor and innovation city Yokohama (* Please refer to the press release document), aiming to attract Yokohama companies by utilizing the two platforms ("LIP Yokohama" and "I.
